At Dolce Vita Corgis, we’re committed to making the process of finding your new fur baby as open and transparent as possible. While it may take some time, we believe that bringing home your dream pup is always worth the wait! 🐾

Join the Waitlist

  1. Submit an Application: Fill out our online application form with details about your home, lifestyle, and preferences.
  2. Application Review: We review your application to ensure it’s a great match for one of our puppies.
  3. Waitlist Confirmation: If approved, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot on the waitlist. You will receive a confirmation email once the deposit is received.

Waiting Period

  1. Regular Updates: We will keep you updated on upcoming litters, estimated timelines, and any important news.
  2. Stay Connected: Follow us on social media and check our website for photos, videos, and updates on the puppies.
  3. Communication Check-In: We may reach out to you to confirm your preferences and answer any questions.

Reserving Your Puppy

  1. Litter Announcement: We will announce when a new litter is born and notify those on the waitlist.
  2. Puppy Selection: Based on your preferences, we will help you choose the perfect puppy for your family.
  3. Reservation Deposit: To reserve your chosen puppy, a reservation deposit will be required. This amount will be applied to the final adoption fee.

Adoption Preparation

  1. Regular Puppy Updates: We will provide weekly updates, photos, and videos of your puppy as they grow, including important milestones.
  2. Complete Adoption Paperwork: You will receive all necessary paperwork, including health records, vaccination details, and spay/neuter agreements.
  3. Final Payment Due: The remaining balance of the adoption fee is due one week before the scheduled pickup date.
  4. Prepare for Pickup Day: Finalize all preparations, including setting up your home for your new puppy and gathering any additional supplies.

Adoption Day

  1. Pickup Your Puppy: Meet your new furry family member in person! We will provide you with a puppy care package, including food, toys, and essential items.
  2. Welcome to the Family: Take your new corgi home and begin your adventure together! We’re always here for any follow-up questions or support.

What Sets Our Corgi Breeding Program Apart?

At our breeding program, we’re passionate about raising Corgis that are healthy, happy, and well-adjusted for life with their new families. Here’s what makes us stand out:

  1. Health and Genetic Excellence: We prioritize the health of our dogs above all else. Our Corgis come from carefully selected, health-tested parents, ensuring they are free from common genetic issues. Regular vet check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings are standard practice.
  2. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Scent Introduction: We incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction from birth to enhance your puppy’s development. ENS exercises help build resilience, improve cardiovascular health, and promote a stronger immune system. Scent introduction helps puppies develop cognitive skills and adaptability, which are beneficial for their future training and overall behavior.
  3. Early Socialization and Training: Our puppies are raised in a loving, home environment where they experience early socialization with people, children, and other pets. From a young age, they are introduced to basic training, different sounds, environments, and begin crate training early on. This foundation helps them transition smoothly to their new homes and makes house training easier.
  4. Temperament-Focused Breeding: We focus on breeding Corgis with exceptional temperaments—dogs that are friendly, curious, and eager to please. Our goal is to produce Corgis that are not only beautiful but also adaptable, trainable, and great with families.
  5. Lifetime Support: When you bring home one of our puppies, you become part of our extended family. We provide ongoing support and resources to help with training, nutrition, and any questions you may have throughout your dog’s life.
  6. Responsible and Ethical Practices: We believe in ethical breeding practices. Our dogs are raised with love and care, with plenty of room to play and exercise. We also prioritize finding the right homes for our puppies, where they will be loved and cherished.
  7. Crate Training for Convenience: Our puppies begin crate training early, helping them learn to see the crate as a safe, comfortable space. This not only assists with house training but also makes travel and vet visits less stressful for both you and your pup.
